Podcast PR Intern — Fall Quarter

Internship Dates: October 1–December 18th, 2026
Location: Remote / Hybrid
Schedule: Approximately 10-15 hours per week
Compensation: This is a paid position ($20/hour). You may also arrange to receive college credit if your school allows it.

We partner with leading physicians, founders, wellness experts and healthcare brands to refine their messaging, develop their unique intellectual property and build visibility strategies that compound over time.

About the Internship

Our Fall Quarter Podcast PR Internship Program gives emerging communications professionals hands-on experience in the rapidly growing world of podcast public relations.

From October 1 through December 20, interns will work closely with our team to research podcasts, develop customized pitches, identify timely opportunities and support campaigns for respected leaders across healthcare and wellness.

This is not a traditional internship centered around generic media lists or mass pitching. Interns will learn how to evaluate alignment, understand what makes an expert compelling and contribute to highly personalized outreach designed to build meaningful, long-term visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Research podcasts, hosts, producers and booking contacts

  • Identify shows that align with each client’s expertise, goals and audience

  • Assist with customized pitches and timely interview angles

  • Research recent episodes, host interests and audience preferences

  • Maintain organized podcast databases and campaign trackers

  • Monitor industry and cultural news for relevant opportunities

  • Support the creation of guest biographies, talking points and media materials

  • Track outreach, follow-ups, bookings and published episodes

  • Identify ways to extend podcast appearances across social media and other platforms

  • Participate in team brainstorms and contribute campaign ideas

  • Assist with additional research and administrative projects as needed

Ideal Candidate

  • Currently pursuing a degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing or a related field

  • A strong writer with excellent editing and proofreading skills

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines

  • Naturally curious and comfortable conducting detailed research

  • Interested in podcasts, healthcare, wellness and public relations

  • Thoughtful, proactive and attentive to detail

  • Comfortable receiving feedback and revising work

  • Professional and reliable when handling client information

  • Familiar with Google Workspace, podcast platforms and social media

Previous agency or public relations experience is welcome but not required. We care most about strong communication skills, good judgment, curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn.
