About Moresco Public Relations + Advisory
Moresco Public Relations + Advisory is a healthcare-focused public relations and strategic advisory firm working with physicians, founders, wellness leaders, healthcare brands, and public-facing experts. Our work goes beyond traditional media relations: we help clients develop unique intellectual property, sharpen their messaging, build thought-leadership platforms, and create ecosystems of influence designed to compound over time.
We have developed a particular expertise in podcast strategy and placement, using long-form media as a starting point for broader digital visibility across social media, YouTube, newsletters, search, and other owned channels.
We are looking for a creative, highly curious Social Media + Digital Strategy Intern to join our team for the Fall 2026 quarter.
About the Internship
This internship is designed for someone who loves social media but wants to understand the strategy behind it—not simply how to post content.
The Social Media + Digital Strategy Intern will work alongside the Moresco PR team to support our agency’s digital presence as well as select client projects. You will gain hands-on experience with content strategy, social media research, thought-leadership development, podcast amplification, digital trends, audience growth, and the ways PR and social media increasingly work together.
Our clients are not trying to simply generate attention. Our work is centered around helping experts become recognized authorities with distinct ideas, trusted platforms, and long-term visibility.
This is an ideal opportunity for a student interested in social media, digital marketing, public relations, healthcare and wellness, content strategy, personal branding, or communications.
What You’ll Work On
Responsibilities may include:
Supporting the development and execution of social media strategies for Moresco PR and select clients
Researching emerging social media trends, conversations, formats, and platform changes
Brainstorming Instagram Reels, carousels, short-form video concepts, educational content, and thought-leadership posts
Assisting with social media calendars and content planning
Identifying opportunities to turn media and podcast appearances into compelling social content
Reviewing podcast episodes and interviews for strong quotes, ideas, educational moments, and potential social clips
Helping research trending conversations within healthcare, wellness, business, and media
Supporting competitive and audience research
Assisting with caption writing, hooks, headlines, and content concepts
Helping identify opportunities for strategic collaborations and cross-promotion
Researching creators, podcasts, brands, experts, and emerging voices within relevant industries
Supporting basic analytics tracking and identifying which types of content are performing best
Assisting with digital research related to SEO, AEO, GEO, and the evolving relationship between social content and search
Participating in team brainstorms and strategy conversations
Supporting special agency projects and campaigns as needed
What You’ll Learn
This internship is intended to provide meaningful, real-world experience. Interns will have the opportunity to learn:
How social media fits into a larger public relations and authority-building strategy
How to develop content around thought leaders and personal brands
How media appearances can be amplified across owned social platforms
How to identify strong hooks, angles, and ideas for digital content
How agencies research and respond to emerging trends
How podcast PR, social media, search, and digital strategy work together
How to communicate complex healthcare and wellness topics in an accessible way
How to think strategically about building authority rather than simply chasing virality
How a boutique agency operates behind the scenes
Our Ideal Candidate
You may be a great fit if you:
Are currently enrolled in college or are a recent graduate
Are studying public relations, communications, marketing, journalism, digital media, advertising, or a related field
Spend enough time on social media to understand internet culture and emerging trends
Have a strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok; familiarity with LinkedIn and YouTube is a plus
Are a strong writer with excellent attention to detail
Are curious about why certain content works
Can identify a strong hook, interesting story, or compelling point of view
Are organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple assignments
Are comfortable conducting independent research
Are interested in healthcare, wellness, thought leadership, personal branding, or podcasting
Bring ideas to the table and aren’t afraid to share them
Are eager to learn and receive feedback
Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, social scheduling platforms, analytics tools, or AI tools is helpful but not required.
